This is a DK weight boucle yarn with a recommended gauge of 21-24 sts using 3.75-4.5mm (US 5-7) needle.

Note:
A smooth yarn in a similar weight as the body of the sweater is recommended for the picot trim and seaming. Left over yarn would be great for this since only a smallamount is needed. Below is the yarn used for this in the sample.
