Varmbrikker Sweater - Knitting Pattern
Varmbrikker is a combination of the Norwegian words for warm and pieces. A fitting description of this sweater. It is made up of separate panels that are pieced or joined together into a textural, cabled and tasselled delight of warm woolyness.
SIZING: 1 (2, 3)
Finished body circumference: 49 (59, 70.5)" 124.5 (150, 179.5) cm
This sweater will accommodate a variety of sizes. Sample shown in size 2 with 21" (51 cm) positive ease
based on 38" (96.5 cm) bust measurement.
YARN USED:
Basic Wool Aran: 100% Non SW Wool, 4oz (113g), [215yd
(196m)] 2 ply - This yarn is no longer available.
Suggested substitute; BFL Worsted: 100% Non SW BFL [4oz (115g), 210yd (192m )]
This is a worsted weight yarn with a recommended gauge of 16-20 sts using 4.5-5.5mm (US 7-9) needle.
